Hello,
My Name is Cosmin,i live in Romania,i'm 31 years old,and recently
i've camed accross my dads stamp collections (he died in 2006).
I've remember seeing the collection for the first time when I was 6 years old,and he would only let me look at them, but "no touching" he said.
The collection is over 500 stamps, and i've taken some photos of them here https://drive.google.com/folderview...usp=sharing.
If anyone can help me find out some more info on them,i would be most gratefull.
And maybe even help me sell some of them.
waiting upon your replyes.
thank you.

Cosmin

Your stamps are attractive, but not really worth anything. This site shows a wide range of stamps

http://www.stampworld.com/en/

and should help you find them.

Cosminelu. Welcome to the forum. I have to agree that the monetary worth of your collection is minimal. However, coming from Dad and your memories of seeing it with him probably have inestimable value. Enjoy!

"Your stamps are attractive, but not really worth anything"

Unfortunately, this seems to be the standard answer to these kinds of inquiries. But, true.

Cosmin: Your dad probably had a good time with his stamps; we hope you will, too. Cheers,

Thank you guys for your honest opinions.
unfortunatelly my dads hobbyes aren't the same as mine,so i'm affraid I don't know anything (at all) about stamps.
i will take high quality photos of each stamp individually, maybe this way i'll find someone who would like some of them.
i would hate to start a fire with them ... :)

Please don't start a fire with them :)

The hidden beauties of stamps is what keeps most collectors going not the monetary value. There are great history lessons, beautiful craftsmanship in the engraved stamps, and the history aspect that are all part of the hobby.
