United Nation Stamps 1952-1963

Hello Forum,

I have inherited a small stamp collection. I spoke to a local shop and they said they're worthless. I wanted to get a second opinion here. Here's a link to photos that I've posted on flickr: https://www.flickr.com/photos/jjr20...661381332975

I was wondering if any of them are worth anything? If so, what should I do with them? If not, should I just throw them out or is there anyone or place that would want them.

Hi James,

Not worthless, but minimal value. The collection is missing the "key" issue for this era (the first souvenir sheet, Scott #38).

Someone who collects United Nations stamps, or wants to start collecting, might be interested.

The entire lot is worth a couple of dollars, at the most. Sorry.

Am I right in thinking that you previously mentioned that these could be used for postage if mailed from the UN's precincts?
