Pretty much green with envy now. I have always wanted to go to a major show with a fat wallet or credit card in my case. Enjoyed your account of events, thanks for sharing. Looks like you were the lucky bidder on ebay auction last night too. Let us know if the imperf is legit.

Actually, I bid on the lot primarily for the last 2 cancel items, although the two Warehouse Receipt stamps have some value. The stamp you are referring to might be an imperf, sewing machine perf, or just trimmed. Hard to tell from the listing image.

I'm leaning towards trimmed based upon what I can see of the stamp's left margin. It really was not a factor in my bidding.

I did not bid high because of the doubt too. It would be a nice bonus to the cancels though.

I'll let you know what it looks like when it arrives. They *DO* exist, but off document it would have to be very convincing.

It continues to amaze me when I see these postings from the revenue section of ebay. I am on there several times a day and like this particular group I cannot for the life of me recall seeing some of these lots.

Must be some sort of double secret probation classified section I'm missing.

I miss some of them too. I figure you can't catch everything, no matter how hard you try.
