I have a cover that was postmarked 1941 that has the orange 6c air mail stamp printed on the envelope. I thought it was a UC#5, but I found out that there are several possibilities for that type of stamp. What do you think it might be?

Normally, you need to measure the width of the "6" to identify the correct Scott number. Widths will vary from 5.5 - 6.5mm. BUT... Because you have a clear postmark date of July 16, 1941, you have a UC3. None of the other variations became available until 1942 (UC4 & UC6) or 1944 (UC5).
