Hi guys...Went to my local stamp club last night and paid $3.00 for a binder of Mint/Used Canada stamps and came across this Mint/Hinged Scott #96, that turned out to be a major re-entry...Third stamp I looked at...Hopefully more to come.

Robert

great Wert, and congrats! Is there a problem with your scanner, the picture is very dark and hard to see!

wert, does one see more re-entries on Canadian stamps or are collectors of Canada more attuned to these?

Wert - your scan looks fine to me. Perhaps Petert4522 needs to adjust the monitor.

KGB - some collectors, such as Wert, are flyspeckers and concentrate on finding re-entries, mis-perfs, mis-tags, colour variations, donuts, etc.

Nice find wert/Robert!

I remember my excitement at finding my first major re-entry. Ralph at Re-entries (dot com) really helped me get started out on that road.

I know he is going through a hard time at the moment though.

Merry Christmas to you - fellow "flyspecker" / re-entry enthusiast.

Hi wert,
Nice find. I would love to put this up on FlySpecker.com if you could send me a nice 1200dpi scan. You can find my email at the site or contact me through the forum here.
