Thanks rod222, I appreciate the scan. I have to ask, did they use them without text printed on the stamp face or are yours errors also, or was it a company advert thing for Tepsco ?

All the best......Jad

Hi Jad,
The format is a Souvenir sheet that carries 10 x 25c stamps
what you see is the selvedge, promoting Nauru and Tepsco.

Hope this helps

rod222,.... Thanks for sharing your knowledge & time, nice sheet mate, that makes things a lot clearer. I'm learning on the fly

Have learnt a lot from you all already over many months of reading here, & it's time for my first second hand S.Gibbons cat., British Empire should cover a lot of the thousands I've rescued from water damaged old albums, not sure what year I'll get away with, spare funds & price will determine what I end up with.
I'm down to the last three albums now after 7 months.

One persons lifes work two generations ago became my quest, now we get serious & see what is in the multitudes
Very steep learning curve.

ATB.....Jad.

Jad, you are welcome.

Now here is a bit of advice, not everyone will agree to.
You will be saving yourself a WHOLE lot of hassle, if you do the following.

1. Buy a Scott CDRom of the 2009 catalogue

Use scott numbering exclusively

2. Visit your local library and ask to purchase the old Stanley gibbons cat
when out of date, or buy an old one, (spend max $15)

Stanley Gibbons is great for commonwealth countries, but sorting the biggest Jigsaw in the world (stamps) you will need Scott

Good luck... tread your own path.
