Are Bureaus Missing Periods Considered Varieties?

The stamp on the left is #635 with precancel 63. The one on the right is the same but missing the period after Calif. Is this a variety of this precancel. If so are they common? I have at least one more on a different issue. And is this something I should place on another page in my K&P Album? Any assistance will be appreciated. Thanks.

Disregard. Next time I'll search before I ask...

I found my answer in another post--from 2011--answered by Chasa. But the pics provide another good example.

Missing periods on PNC's (Plate Number Coils) are certainly collected as varieties. I do not know if they are considered the same on older precancels.
