The stamp pictured is part of a MNH complete set from Austria c. 1929. I'm having difficulty deciding about the perfs on the top edge, far right.

Would you personally consider this stamp has having short or shortish perfs, or would it be considered "standard" or "average" quality for the time frame?

Thanks so much for your opinions.

sherm, this stamp was printed in 1930 in grey violet and again in 1932 in dull blue. The sizes were different too, as well as different perfs. The first is 25.5 by 21.5 mm with 12.5 perf and the second is 21 by 16.5 mm with 12 perf. I saw a couple of these stamps for sale with what appeared to be much larger perfs. I don`t see any record, though, of any other printings. The perfs on your stamp look normal to me.

I view the perf at far right top as short. I'm not a perfectionist when it comes to perforations, but if I were, it would bother me.

Here's another example of your stamp I found on Delcampe (€45):

And this one with bad centering but good perfs (€32):

I agree with Jenny2U, the perfs on your copy are torn. It would not bother me a whole lot either though!
