First of all. Enjoy the Chrismas. Hope everybody is enjoying themselves with family/frieds
Second I would like to ask if there is any intrest in vietnam/north..south..vietcong cto stamps?
I have some sheets that I would like to use to make some small lots, and offer them up.
Would take forever to offer them solo, so polling a bit if there is any demand..
Some even have some cat.value but the cto part kind of takes that down again. Although some can be quite hard to get without.
I will make some pictures and add them to this post.
Thank in advance:)

remco, I would be interested. My father was in Viet Nam for two tours during the war. (`Tour` is a strange word for it, isn`t it?) |

Made some pictures. Should have some more different, will add these when found. Still have to sort them and add the cat.numbers. Some sheets seem to have serious missing perfs, slight shifted prints and overprint efo's... But that is probably common. Remco |

All common packet material stuff. Some better like that set with the paintings and those related to the War of Liberation. Can I see your Viet Minh surcharges . |

I collect Vietnam from 1945 forward. My observation is that Vietnam doesn't attract a lot of attention from collectors for some reason. Vietcong (NLF) stamps are not listed by Scott, but are covered in Michel's. Small lots in good condition would be more likely to get interest from collectors as opposed to singles. But, if the lot has some CTOs and marginally sound stamps then a large lot may be the way to go. |

Indeed alot of common stamps. This surcharge I found. But not many of these here and there is some major overprint flaw in the sheet. |

Can make a few lots like this. Still looking to add some more.

Probably 99c or €1.99. Bigger lots for both North and South Viet-Nam over a good run of years seem to go pretty well in the auctions I bid in, but I don't think there's sufficient early material here to generate much money. |

Oeff. Not worth to rip the sheets futher then. Maybe when I have got some more spare time. See singles offered for that kind of money(cto, but they will probably do not sell then also.
Many thanks for your time, looking and reply's.
In advance all the best for 2016!! :).

I meant those as starting points to see if there was any interest, not a BIN - although no guarantee that they'd go higher.

It is ok Geoff. I doubt the interest is there. I could make the lot a bit larger as there are some more sheets here, just have to find them :). But maybe I will put one lot on ebay, but then again with such low prices, the posting would be almost the same or more then the lot itself:). Thanks again for your input. Remco |
