Don't know if anyone else has access to this information, but in my fledgling career in postal history (Canada and USA) I've been tracking down postal rates so I can decipher my old covers. Just came upon this chart which I think will be really handy. So I thought I'd share.
Thanks for the link Don. Will come in handy. Didn't work with my date though. I have been researching a cover from 1835. I've printed out the pages I linked above and have them in a handy binder on my bookshelf. Sometimes I find that easier to find than a website.
If you are looking to interpret US Stampless covers, then why not just start with the US Stampless Cover Catalog? It has rate information in it. A modest investment in the printed literature for any specialty area will pay-back the investment cost many times over in a very short time.
