The name "Coober Pedy" comes from the local Aboriginal term kupa-piti, which means "white man's hole".

Goober is a peanut.

I understand all that.

What I mean by "goober" is whether or not the cover has any value in colloquial terms ? It loosely refers to something with little value in the states.

A trashy automobile can be referred to as a goober.
A redneck in a trailer park could be a goober.

I'd also like to get some feedback about the cover's history.
