What Are The Best Stockbooks And Archival Quality Sheets?

Hello. Bonne année. I find that the nature of Lighthouse stock-pages - stiff, fitted at the sides - can make them difficult to use. The strips can crack, and stamos can be difficult toinsert and remove. An alternative is Hagner, but its pages have their own drawbacks, as the strips can become detached from the backing card. As you're in France, why not try Yvert? I have some of its stock-pages, although I don't use them intensively enough to encounter problems.

Whereabouts are you? If you're near a shop, you could look at a few examples side by side.

I will have a look at Hagner and see if it's available in France.

As for Yvert, they're what I started with as a teenager. They used to be a good entry brand, but now their quality has dropped severely. Uneven quality, low quality material, etc. for a price that is still somewhat high. Most collectors here don't recommend it anymore.
It's a shame though because they used to have a certain stature in the philatelic spheres in France.
