I inherited some stamps and have no idea what I'm doing. Can anyone help me determine the value of these stamps? It seems like there are so many variations to small queens and I can't figure out what I have. Thanks!
Stampdummy, on these two please keep in mind that both have defects which would place their value at only a fraction of catalog. The catalog value can be found at http://stampworld.com .
Hellostampdummy, the 2 cents is probably a Scott 36 with less than a $1 value and the 3 cents Scott 37 or 41, probably cancelled too , certainly no gum and a tears so no real value. Many shade exist of those stamps so a closer look in person is need to be certain.
stampworld ..... they are no catalog value on stampworld.
The 2c green (Scott 36) has a double precancel, although it does not have a wide separation between the printings, it is one! This increases the catalogue value to C$75.00 (5th Ed.), although with the bad condition it is in, it only increases its true value a little bit.
