My friend Kate Shaw who works on the British Philatelic Bulletin would be interested in any feed back regarding her online UK Special Stamps poll. Traditionally the poll has been conducted annually with a printed insert in the Bulletin magazine for regular subscribers however this year she's tried to broaden interest online. I told her I thought the images looked great online and that the picture voting worked well – I also said I'd pass on any feedback from participators.javascript:insertsmilie(' ')

Hi Bass Man and welcome to this forum. If we can help we will be happy to, but could you give us a link to the poll?

I thought Kate had left the bulletin ? Maybe she went back. I wrote an article for her some time ago, a very nice lady to conduct business with.
Let's see a link please.

I have found a link but it's not working here. go to Google and type in 'Survey Legend Philatelic Bulletin' and it will take you there.
I'll try for a link again a bit later.

Alice in Wonderland, space films, comedians and rugby should be publicly burned. Others are OK to good. But so many of them. How come we got through 100 years with around a dozen commemoratives? |

Quote:I did find a nice Web site that displays all of the UK's special stamps: http://rmspecialstamps.com/ I had not realised how many stamps the UK was issuing. It makes me realise that I was right in giving up collecting modern GB many years ago. AQ |

Agree with the Alice & comedian stamps. The rest are OK. Liked the Star Wars stamps, but that is my soft spot I guess... |

This link will not work for me if I have Ad Block running which I normally do. Switching it off for this site works OK. I had a thought A challenge would be to try to find these stamps commercially used on cover. I do not have the storage space for that though. I wonder how may of these actually get commercially used rather than them being a money generator for the Post Office. AQ |
