Have a few of these. Would like to sell the extra ones. But maybe not worth anything or almost nothing that it is not worth the effort for putting it on ebay or simulair? Any suggestions?

I would not give it much of a chance on ebay, but it might sell out of a circuit book ( rondzendboekje )? Peter |

AFAIK, next-to-everybody keeps the blocks that come their way, but next-to-nobody buys them for cash money.
Enjoy yours!

Wow!
Q/ Did they come to you as a single lot?
That 1/2c Franklin was still being sold over the counter when I was first collecting stamps.
I was very fond of using 2x5 (and, later, 2x6 & 3x4) blocks on my outbound mail.
Now that you have that many of them in one place, The Network Effect comes into play.
Post a link in this thread if you put them up for auction.
Cheers,

They were all on the bottom of an shoebox. Kind of looks like it was some sort of collection, besides the b.franklins then.
What do you think about the famous americans..they all seem to have some nicely centered cancellation. Or were there cto or something.
There is more then on the pictures.
Will post the link when they go :) |

I remember some columnist suggesting that, if you wanted a cheap challenge, try collecting all of the Famous Americans postally used on cover.
It would not be expensive, but it would keep you busy for awhile.
You are correct that it is a popular series: nicely styled, nicely shaped, and somebody to look at aside from Ben & Georgie.
Your FA multiples might do better sold separately ... and I have no idea what 'better' might be ... but if they are anywhere near complete, I'd take the time to hinge them on blank quadrille pages so they look more like a well-cared-for Collection.
Edited to add: And then I'd keep them.
Cheers,

I'm not into U.S. that much, but didn't the $5 postage dues have some value at one time? |

I'd innocently termed these the "Faces only a mother could love stamps". I'm delighted to be educated. |
