This May 8, 1949 50 lev value (Sc #662) of Bulgaria is from the "Five Year Plan of the Economy" set of five stamps. Stamp depicts the symbols of agriculture and industry.  |

On October 3, 1961 Liechtenstein issued this 50c Europa (C.E.P.T.) stamp (Sc #368) showing EUROPA spelled out on six gears. This was six years before many countries used a "gear" theme for their Europa issues in 1967. The 1967 Liechtenstein EUROPA stamp can be seen on page 4 of this thread.  |

On June 11, 2015 Greece issued three 'Greetings' miniature sheets with 4 different stamps on each sheet. One of these sheets has two stamps depicting gears. This 72c value features a corporate handshake, and the 90c stamp shows corporate world commerce.  |
