We have a thread on SCF about Black & White Stamps.

How about White Stamps?

This stamp issued by Austria on January 29, 2016 is
almost totally white and has albino embossing for the script.

It was the winning entry of the annual stamp
design contest open to the public which is
sponsored by Austria Post and the newspaper Die Presse

The theme was "Factor Future" and the writing basically says
" The future is not yet written.
It will be what we make of it. "

As you can see stamp does not scan well, therefore I darkened
the image a bit in order for the raised embossed script
to appear more visible.

AUSTRIA

There is a good description, illustrations and technical
data about this and other newly released Austrian
stamps on this Austrian stamp forum.

South Africa 2005 November 20 Hello in Braille.
This stamp has an orange border, but it does have a white theme, with the word "Hello" printed in Braille. I belief there are a number of other "white" Braille stamps.

The "Millenium" booklet was issued in 1999 by GB with a larger size white embossed Machin stamp in a block of 4.

The left pic is just a straight scan, the right pic has been adjusted to show up the details somewhat, but it is quite a difficult stamp to illustrate.

What, no graphite?

You could try laying the stamp, face-down, onto a fresh, soggy tea bag ...

Cheers,

A different view. Shot with my iphone with very low angle lighting. I guess the technical aspects of the printing (paper thickness and self-adhesive) prevented a more crisp embossing.

I only use soggy tea bags to get rid of the bags under my eyes,
not on my stamps.

Spain 2015

Creativity...

What is this empty stamp?

The blank canvas that challenges to a creative mind?
or...the absence of creativity and new ideas of many people?

white stamp - I do not have a clue to what it is. Probably a revenue from somewhere.

Value Tablet 200 Reis, and "sello"
Maybe a Magenta / Purple Revenue from Brazil?
that has chemical / light damage.

Also looks like maybe "Thesouro" or "Tescouro" which would confirm Brazil
(Thesouro Nacional)
