New Hydrangea Coil Stamps Colour Shift (Here I Go Again)

Just picked up the new Hydrangea coil stamps and well I was cutting them into 4s and 10s I noticed they looked blurry. I thought with today's printing this was not likely to happen. Did a quick check on ebay and noticed the few that was on there that the dots lined up. Wondering how does this happen theses days. Much like the shift on my Whale stamp from a previous post. I thought all the colours were done at one time.










Again any info would be great.

Hi Northener0. Unless I am completely off, I believe the 'traffic lights' indicate different plates for different colors. Your blurry-ness is a slight mis alignment of one ( or more ) color. I think the same thing occurred on that beautiful whale stamp you posted some time back.

Thanks Peter, so it's still one colour one plate. So it's a quality control issue. I know it's a minor shift, so I guess what I would like to know is how common are shifts on this modern stamps.
This is getting expensive now I have to go back and get another with straight traffic light to go with this one. LOL

I wonder what percentage (if any) of these stamps are perfectly aligned

Anthraquinone I believe you are right, after looking on ebay again I would have to retract my earlier statement of the stamps on there being lined up. All the coil stamps on there seem outa alignment.
