I am quite excited to begin sorting through my first official stamp purchase to continue where my grandad left off in the 70s. I've got 40+ years of Canadian stamps to collect. Seemed like a good place to start no? 700 stamps for something like $10 on ebay.  |

I loved starting a new Canada collection a few years back. My only complaint: in recent years, they have issued a ton of souvenir sheets. Seemingly more than the U.S. does. It's become difficult to keep up on them. But finding the older stuff has been fun. For a while, I had a dealer sending me all the new stamps on a subscription service with him, but he retired a few years back. At this point, I'm about ten years behind on supplements for my Harris album I picked up for Canada. I should just get some blank pages for the recent stuff, but I haven't been able to bring myself to do that yet. Enjoy your new collection! |
