I know this is a "hail Mary" but I will give it a try.

Mystic issues a US catalog that is outstanding. I use it every day. I write in it, I made notes in it, I inventory my holdings with it. It is just a great catalog, and it's free.

My question is; does anyone issue a Mystic like catalog for Great Britain, or any other country? Happy to pay for a good one. Or, would print a good one. I have the Stanley Gibbons concise GB but find it too hard to follow using a Scott album etc. Of course, I have the Scott GB but these are too small print, not easy to write on (ink leeks through) and way to expensive to replace.

Terry,

I think you might wish to have a look at the Stanley Gibbons "Collect British Stamps". It is a simplified catalog and would be the most simple SG prints.

The other GB catalogue is produced by Stoneham, and has rather more realistic prices. But it also has a good deal more detail than you might be seeking -

Terry:

In this case, I think it will help you to distinguish Catalogue from Catalog; or perhaps the Scott and SG Catalogues from the Mystic Sales Catalog.

I think you're saying you use the Mystic Sales Catalog as a checklist for your collecting. I think you'll find a lot of other members do the same. The sales catalog is thorough, lot's of pictures, etc.

Thank you Geoffha, I ordered the catalogue but mailing to the USA was 13L or $20 USD.

KirkS - Thank you and you are absolutely correct. I am looking for a sales catalog, along the lines of the Mystic USA sales catalog, but for Great Britain. Any ideas where to get one?

Of course, Gibbons is a sales catalogue too, although most of us don't buy from it, The company I gave you the link to does a fairly good GB sales catalogue, but I suspect that Collect British Stamps would be a better bet than that. The problem, as ever, is likely to be the postage -

Simple cross-reference - Arthur Ryan's price lists:

Gives you an easily replaceable "catalog"
