Very well done. I saved your exhibit to my google docs so I can look at it closer while on a plane. I like how you focused on historical versus just every chess stamp. Chess is my second favorite hobby after philately.

Also, did not realize Philidor was the first world champion.

All world champions before 1886 (when Steinitz beat Zuckertort) were unofficial. Philidor was not the first, but then again all chronology before 1886 does not really matter that much.

Very interesting. After philately, chess is definitely my favorite hobby! It's neat to see others who love both philately and chess.

Thank you all for your kind words. I love chess as well, ever since learning to play when I was a little kid. I'm also into hockey, soccer and Olympics (all of those are my philatelic topics as well).
