Forgive me should this be in the wrong forum. I did read over each one and I just wasn't sure.

I recently came across a tub full of stamps and found the Parrot stamp. I tried to research it. 1984? 3.20p Parrot Tanygnathus megalorynchos stamp is all I could find. Can anyone provide info on it such as worth or if it's rare?

It's quite common and is valued at 35 pence used in my Stanley Gibbons catalogue (2008). It also looks that it is a CTO (Cancelled To Order). The bird's common name is the Great-billed parrot.

ladylinux:

The stamp is #1658 in the Scott catalog, one of a set of six birds presumably native to the Philippines. The set was issued January 9, 1984.
