Canada - 1/2¢ Small Queens On Cover

I'm sure I posted this cover somewhere here on the forum, but for the life of me, I can't find it. So, I'll repost, along with the album page I've created for it.

Here's the cover. Posted from Toronto to Manchester Maine in 1893.

The sender of this cover, Harton Walker, was a real estate agent and developer in Toronto who, in 1908, introduced a new development in the city in what is still one of the toniest areas. Google it, and you'll see some pretty amazing homes from the period.

It turned out there were at least two Harton Walkers in Toronto at that time (who knew?) the other being a merchant. So I've included Mr Walker's directory listing from 1893 to confirm which one sent this letter, and that I have the more interesting Harton Walker.

I've posted a revised page. More info came to light. Seems Mssrs Walker and Sampson were one (well two ) of us!

Well done jamesw. I am partial to the half cent Small Queen having shown a single frame exhibit at both BNAPS and the ROYAL. Your combination of postal history and social philately is a lovely approach and worthy of consideration for other cover collectors.
