Help To Identify And Certificate An Imperial Korean Stamp - #9iai - 1897

Hello.

I have an interesting stamp that I need help to identify and certificate It.

It looks like the same stamp that is available for sale on ebay or delcamp, but I think that I need an Official Certificate to know the real price. We know that there are many overpriced to sell...I donīt know the real value of mine.

Someone can help me?

I'm no expert but my 2010 Scott shows your stamp as Korea #12 and the catalog value as $17. I don't know why the ebay item is $8000.

The ebay seller is claiming to have Michel #9IaI, which is the light bluish red color variety for the stamp. Either that or the seller has mis-read the Michel listing and meant to list it as #9IIaI. Hard to tell colors from a screen picture, but it is likely the latter.

Either way, one would probably need a certificate for #9IaI. The last 3 of the 5 pictures in the ebay seller's listing are not showing up for me. I wonder if the seller has a certificate that is not showing?

To me, my stamp is much more red than maroon...
