I checked Scott, but am unable to locate any information about the below pictured stamp with what possibly is an overprint of a "TF".

Any information one could provide would be greatly appreciated.

Regards

Stamps with a TF overprint were for telegraph use. More information here:

Stampalotapus, first of all you are probably looking under the wrong country. It is the Oranje Vrij Staat, or Orange Free State. And I believe it is a telegraph stamp.

First: is not "Orange River Colony" but "Orange Free State", an independent Boer republic from 1854 to 1900; when, after the British victory, it became the "Orange River Colony". Your stamp, is a telegraph one. My Yvert et Tellier catalog, list it and dates at 1890/96.

Jenny2U Thank you for the link - very helpful.

Petert4522 & Cursus, my 2013 Scott Cat lists these "Orange Free State" stamps under "Orange River Colony" - This is why I titled the topic so. Thank you both, I am aware of the direct translation and the Boer War activities that affected this area.
