Jajce Fortress is located in the Old Town complex of the Bosnian town of Jajce, with citadel on top of pyramidal-shaped steep hill. It is assumed to have been built in the 13th century.

Svalbard globale frøhvelv is a secure seed bank on the Norwegian island of Spitsbergen in the remote Arctic Svalbard archipelago. The seed vault is an attempt to ensure against the loss of seeds in other genebanks during large-scale crises.
Preikestolen fjellstue is a cabin complex in Strand municipality, owned by Stavanger Tourist Association. It is a year-round facility and is the starting point for trips to the Preikestolen and other destinations.

Amberd is a 7th-century fortress located 2300 meters above sea level, on the slopes of Mount Aragats at the confluence of the Arkashen and Amberd rivers in the province of Aragatsotn, Armenia. Its walls are constructed of roughly hewn basalt blocks set in place with mortar.

Hôtel de Ville (City Hall) in Paris, is the building housing the city's local administration. The south wing was originally constructed by François I beginning in 1535 until 1551. The north wing was built by Henry IV and Louis XIII between 1605 and 1628.

Prangins Castle is located in the municipality of Prangins of the Canton of Vaud in Switzerland. It is home to one part of the Swiss National Museum. The terrace has views of Lake Geneva and the Alps.

Baldwin's Tower is a defensive tower located in the Bulgarian town of Veliko Tarnovo. The modern tower is built in 1930 based on the preserved medieval tower in the Cherven fortress near Ruse.

Nizwa Fort is a large castle in Nizwa, Oman. It was built in the 1650s, although its underlying structure goes back to the 12th century.
Sohar Fort is a 13th century castle located in Al-Hujar, overlooking the Gulf of Oman.

Saint Sophia Cathedral in Polotsk was built between 1044 and 1066. It stands at the confluence of the Polota and Western Dvina Rivers and is probably the oldest church in Belarus.
All Saints Monument Church in Minsk was built in memory of the millions of victims of Belarusians and natives of Belarus. The modern, 74 meters-high structure was opened in 2010.

Pictured on this international postcard rate stamp of private courier Universal Mail (U.K.) is the queen's London residence. It was opened in 1703 and it has 828,820 square feet of floor space.

According to Wikipedia: "Buckingham Palace is the London residence and administrative headquarters of the monarch of the United Kingdom. Located in the city of Westminster, the palace is often at the centre of state occasions and royal hospitality."

A sheet label depicting Olympic Stadium was left attached to the 2012 Paralympics airmail rate stamp (Scott Great Britain #C7).

The Olympics and Paralympics stamps were printed together in a sheet containing 8 each of the two 1st rate stamps, 2 each of the two airmail stamps, and 20 labels.
