Fort George, Scotland is shown on this international postcard rate stamp of private courier Universal Mail of the U.K. According to Wikipedia, "Fort George...is a large 18th-century fortress...to the north-east of Invernesses the Highland Council area of Scotland. It was built to pacify the Scottish highlands in the aftermath of the Jacobite rising of 1745, replacing a Fort George in Inverness constructed after the 1715 Jacobite rising to control the area. The current fortress has never been attacked and has remained in continuous use as a garrison."   |

The age of the foundation dates back to the end of the 13th or the beginning of the 14th century. Liplje Monastery is a Serbian Orthodox monastery dedicated to the Annunciation and located in the Municipality of Tesli#263; in northern Republika Srpska. Ulriksdals Slott is a Royal palace situated on the banks of the Edsviken in the Royal National City Park in Solna Municipality. It was built by architect Hans Jacob Kristler in 1643-1645 as a country retreat. Tjolöholms Slott is a country house built 1898-1904, in Halland. It is located on a peninsula in the Kungsbacka Fjord on the Kattegat coast.  |
