Hanging Church belongs to the Coptic Orthodox Church of Alexandria. The church is named for its location above a gatehouse of Babylon Fortress, the Roman fortress in Old Cairo. It was probably built during the patriarchate of Isaac (690–692) and has seen many restorations.

Esztergom Basilica is an ecclesiastic basilica in Esztergom and the seat of the Catholic Church in Hungary. It is the largest church and the tallest building in Hungary. The basilica was bulit between 1822 and 1869 and was consecrated in 1856.

Blatná Castle is a landmark of Blatná, a small town in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. The water castle is situated in the center of an artificial lake surrounded by a landscape garden.
Bouzov Castle is an early 14th-century fortress built on a hill between the village of Hvozdek and the town of Bouzov in Moravia, Czech Republic.

Sarajevo City Hall was the largest and most representative building of the Austro-Hungarian period in Sarajevo and served as the city hall. The building was completed and opened in 1896.

Roset-Roznovanu Palace is an edifice located in Iasi, Romania. It was built in the second half of the 18th century and rebuilt between 1830 and 1833. It hosted the Romanian government during WWI.

Matsue Castle is a feudal castle in Matsue in Shimane prefecture. It is one of the few remaining medieval castles in their original wooden form. It was built between 1607 and 1611 under the local lord Horio Yoshiharu.

Kongo Sanmai-in is a minor temple complex on Mount K#333;ya in Japan founded in 1211. The temple houses a hibutsu (secret Buddha) statue which is displayed for only one day every five hundred years.

Andrássy Castleis located in Tiszadob in northeastern Hungary. It was designed by Artúr Meinig for Count Gyula Andrássy. The castle, showing the characteristics of neo-Gothic and Romantic style was completed in 1885.

Three stamps from Berlin's 1949 "Berlin Buildings" definitive series depict the Tegel Castle, or "Tegeler Schloss". They are the 5 pf, 25 pf and 5 dm values, Michel #s 44, 50, and 60.

From Wikipedia, "The Schloss Tegel, or Humboldt-Schloss is a house in Tegel, part of Reinickendorf district of Berlin. The present building was built between 1820 and 1824 by Wilhelm von Humboldt to designs by Karl Friedrich Schinkel. It houses the private Humboldt-Museum.".

And, here is the 2 dm value Mi #58) from Berlin's 1949 "Berlin Buildings" definitives set. The stamp shows Gendarmenmarkt Square with Berlin Concert Hall on the left and French Cathedral on the right.

From Wikipedia, "The Gendarmenmarkt is a square in Berlin and the site of an architectural ensemble including the Berlin Concert Hall and the French and German Churches. The square was created by Johann Arnold Nering at the end of the seventeenth century as the Linden-Markt and reconstructed by Georg Christian Unger in 1773."

The pic shows the Square as it appear around 1900.
