St. James Cathedral is located in the historical center of the city of Saltillo in Mexico. It is one of the architectural jewels of the state of Coahuila. A large portion of the structure was completed in 1880.

New Synagogue Berlin is a mid-19th century synagogue built as the main place of worship for Berlin's Jewish community. Because of its eastern Moorish style and resemblance to the Alhambra, the New Synagogue is an important architectural monument in Germany.

Collegiate Church of St. Bartholomew is a historical building in Liège, Belgium. It was built in the late 11th century and the late 12th century. The massive westwork with its twin towers were reconstructed in 1876. Additional restoration work was completed in 2006.

On June 16, 2006 Greece issued this .65 euro stamp (Sc #2267a) depicting the Kastello on the island of Rhodes.

From wikipedia, "The Palace of the Grand Master of the Knights of Rhodes, also known as the Kastello, is a medieval castle in the city of Rhodes on the island of Rhodes in Greece. The site was previously a citadel of the Knights Hospitaler that functioned as a palace, headquarters and fortress...The palace was originally built in the late 7th century as a Byzantine citadel."

Here is Greece's October 7, 1996 10 drachma, booklet stamp (Sc #1843a) depicting Mytilene Castle.

From wikipedia, The Castle of Mytilene, also Fortress of Mytilene, is located in Mytilene on the Greek island of Lesbos, North Aegean. The sixth century castle may have been built on top of an already existent fortress."

Visegrád Castle was constructed in the mid-13th century near the one destroyed earlier. The Upper Castle on top of a high hill was laid out on a triangular ground plan and had three towers at its corners. The Lower Castle, with a large tower at its center, connects the Upper Castle with the Danube.

This modern, .52 euro stamp of BWPost Stuttgart, depicts the Kunstmuseum Stuttgart which houses a collection of contemporary and modern art, including important works by Otto Dix. This art museum was built in 2005.

BWPost is the largest private courier in the German state of Baden-Wuerttemberg.

Regarding the Kunstmuseum Stuttgart building, wikipedia says, "During the day it looks like a glass cube, and at night the interior-lighted limestone walls become visible."
