Just wondering if this stamp is in some specialized catalog any where. Couldn't find any reference to the inverted back ground. Wondering what you all think of this one.

Somehow looks problematic to me. The stamp was issued between 1919 and 1920, and I have no idea if inverted backgrounds are known. The color looks funny to me, but that could just be the picture ( scan? ).

Ya the colour looks the same as stampworld.com but couldn't find anything on it. The sales card I found it in mentions 1500 Marks. Realy not sure about this one.

According to Michel there are stamps with inverted center known. But only unused. Cancelled stamps (most of the time with paaskula) are forgeries.
