Today, the APS announced the results of the 2016 Election for the APS Board of Directors and the APRL Board of Trustees. The link can be found here: http://stamps.org/NewsItemDetail.aspx?id=134
That represents about 13 percent of the membership. It is consistent with the last two voting cycles, but it would be good to see greater participation in future years.
Some of the people I voted for made it; some did not. All in all, I am confident that the membership will be well served by these newly elected individuals. Climber Steve (42 year member, and counting)
Kind of disappointed that so few members voted, but the results are the results. Good luck to everyone that has been elected and I am glad that Michael Bloom was elected as a director at large. I think he has some interesting ideas in terms of incorporating technology into the hobby. Also, it looks like both women who were nominated were elected to their positions. Diversity in management is an asset.
