Double Transfers On The Ro49, Byam, Carlton & Co. Match Stamp.

The first scan is probably the Scott listed double transfer on watermarked paper showing mainly in the bottom 60% of the stamp. The bottom stamp is on old paper, and I also have the same double transfer on watermarked paper, showing subtle throught the top mainly above "MATCHES" and stronger in the bottom label "INTER.REV.ONE CENT."

Jealous of these, I wish I found them. :-)

Another double transfer found on RO49b. This Dt is found at the top 25% of the stamp. Although it is not large, I found it nice. If you will direct your attention to the upper left top frame line you will see the direction above the DT slightly above and the right of the top frame line. Doubling shows at the bottom of "US" and the clear arc under the "US", also, there is doubling at the bottom of "1 CT" on the right. Nice doubling is noted in the same direction of "MATCHES."
