There are several double transfers found on the Scott RO 155b Match Stamp. All of the double transfers I have seen are of the type 3 double transfers. The top stamp an upward transfer of "INTER. REVENUE." Doubling is also noted in the upper right scroll around the "S". Note the dot between "R.R" goes upwardly while the dot after the "E" of "REVENUE" goes to the right resulting in a slightly twisted transfer. The lower left corner is doubled downwardly as the bottom of the letters "ION" of "FRICTION" as well as the "MATCH" of "MATCHES". Being that the doubling goes upward at the top and downward at the bottom this should be considered a triple transfer.

The bottom stamp shows an upwardly doubling of "INTER. REVENUE." at the top. The bottom left corner shows doubling to the bottom, greater than the top stamp, and slightly at the bottom of "TIO" of "FRICTION" and "MA" of "MATCHES". This should also be considered a triple impression.

The fact that the doubling goes upwards at the top and downwards at the bottom is an indication that it was a "slip transfer" type of double transfer, not a triple transfer. During the rocking in process either originally or on during a re-entry the transfer roll slipped at both top and bottom for some reason.
This stamp is also known with the Inter Revenue showing doubling at the top of the letters, Friction and Matches showing doubling throughout at the bottom of the letters, and the bottom right corner elements doubled.
