Please start by describing your collection.

Is it classic material from before 1940, or modern?

Are there any high value single items in your collection?

I've got stamps before and after 1940.
especially german and the USA, but from more countries as well.
I dont know what value is my collection so I cant answer the second question.

dylam,
Welcome to the forum. Can you post a few images as a representation of the collection? This would help greatly.

One big question is why? Are you looking to sell it? If so, it might be easiest to speak to a local stamp dealer or a local stamp club.

You can find a list of Dealers and Clubs in Israel at http://www.geocities.ws/stamplink/i...aldlr/il.htm

If you are more interested in taking up stamp collecting (which I hope you would) and understanding what you have, then this is a great place to start, but also you could join a stamp club as well.

Dylam, one way is to check ebay or Delcampe and see what they sell for. Another is http://stampworld.com , that site gives you a retail price for almost every stamp ever issued. Still another would be a stamp dealer - but keep in mind those folks buy low.
