This Message: This listing (item number) has been removed, or this item is not available.
•Please check that you've entered the correct item number •Listings that have ended 90 or more days ago will not be available for viewing. That message has been showing up on various items in the stamps category of the past week and then 12 to 24 hours later the item is back with no problems. That cause problems because buyers think the item has been permanently removed. Problem 2: Items ending soonest... I have been seeing misplaced items time-wise. Example: Scrolling down, items listed by how much time is left... seconds, minutes, hours, then ending in 12 days, 12 days 12 days, back to ending in minutes or hours???

Quote: This listing (item number) has been removed, or this item is not available. I just complained to ebay about this as its happening random with my active listings to. If you clear cache every time and reopen the item it fixes the issue. But unfortunately buyers don't know this so they think the items gone when its not. Another problem, in the long list of items search results I notice quiet often the wrong image appearing in the search results images. You open the listing to see a different item The most annoying thing on ebay atm is the bell next to the shopping cart. You try to view your item and the bell throws several reminder boxes on screen blocking the item you wish to view. I wish that ebay bell was removed! |

Which browser/OS are you guys using? Have you tried a different browser to see if you still see the issues? I know I currently have an issue with IE and the Flash plugin; for whatever reasons it crushes the page performance with some of the third party ads being used on ebay. When I disable the Flash plugin in IE, the pages load and run great. When I use Firefox or Chrome, I do not see the same Flash issue. Don APS #094826 |

I have everything set up in firefox inc paypal, ebay usa, uk and oz. I usually find these ebay problems eventually fix themself in the long run. |

In this day and age, it behooves everyone to install and have several browsers on their devices. This is incredibly valuable when trying to figure out what is going on with certain web sites and/or issues. It is always the very first thing anyone trying to troubleshoot a web site issue will want to know (i.e. if you want to report the issue). The sad truth is that no company on earth can afford to test on every browser, browser version, operating system, operating system versions, browser plug-ins, browser plug-in versions, etc etc. (Especially when you try to calculate the number of possible combinations of these variables.) What a surprise this time I had a sold item. I clicked the hyperlink to see the item to get it for the customer. Its the first one of the morning and what happened This listing ( 371668895755) has been removed, or this item isn't available. Please check that you've entered the correct item number Listings that have ended 90 or more days ago won't be available for viewing. I took a screen shot and sent it to ebay tech I also mentioned I don't seem to be the only one this is happening to. |

Hi Timm do make a complaint direct to ebay and send a screenshot, the more sellers that advise ebay of the problem the more likely they will fix it. |

The problem seem to between ebay and Internet Explorer. Rumor has it that Internet Explorer is going away and is being replaced by Microsoft Edge. I am sure Microsoft is aware of the problems with Internet Explorer, I'm just not sure they care? Why put effort into something that is going away anyway? |

This is the error that is sent to the browser when an item has been removed by ebay for a myriad of reasons like a listing violation. Obviously not the issue this time though. I have direct access to eB ay servers so I built this tool on the coin side to retrieve images from otherwise nuked listings. It allowed me to get to your listing. |

I see this same error message sometimes using Safari (version 9.1.1) on OS X (version 10.9.5). I have learned to check again later, as often times the item will become available again. Still, it is a pain and probably is causing me to not bid on some items that I should have been able to. |

Can everyone please take screenshots of this error they see and email the error to ebay? I think the more people that do this and make the complaint the more they will have to act to fix it. It seems to be across the board with sellers and buyers. |

Quote: When I disable the Flash plugin in IE, the pages load and run great. When I use Firefox or Chrome, I do not see the same Flash issue. The problem with slow loading ads in Internet Explorer has been ongoing for more than a year. I have also noticed this type of issue with some news web sites. It appears that Internet Explorer has a memory leak of some sort. When an IE instance balloons to more than a couple of hundred MB, it is time to kill the process, otherwise IE will eventually hang. Still, with this workaround slow loading ebay ads are a real irritation and make viewing ebay search results truly painful because the page won't scroll untail every last irrelebant ad is loaded. I believe this to be incredibly stupid on the part of ebay. A web site that large with the traffic and resources available to them should be focused on only one objective: Make the site faster and easier to use to help maximize sales. Suggesting that potential buyers switch browsers is not an effective sales strategy. I have not seen this problem occur in Microsoft Edge or in IE on Windows 10. However, I am not willing to test IE further because I have switched most browsing to Edge, despite some annoyances and lack of certain features like being able to control the download directory. Also, Edge appears to suffer from a security deficieny I first noticed in FIreFox. If a driveby attack occurs and the browser can no longer be controlled, killing the browser process and restarting the browser does not seem to give users the option not to restart sessions running when the browser crashed. With IE, it was possible to not restart rogue processes. Unfortunately, it is probably true that IE should no longer be used to browse ebay if Edge is available. However, requiring potential buyers to upgrade their hardware or operating system is not likely to help sales. Clark |

The problem does occur with IE11 with Windows 10, I know because that is what I am currently using.
