I just got a note from a seller on ebay who said he prefers Stamps2go. I have bought a lot on ebay, and sold a little. I prefer their layout to S2G, but that might just be that I'm used to it. Any opinions as to which is superior, for buying and for selling? Thanks. Don

Don, I do love stamps2go. Simple to work with and you know where you stand pricewise!

I buy and sell on oth ebay and Stamps2Go. They are totally different concepts and operations. They both have their purpose and I don't feel that either one can be described as better than the other. |

I agree with the above, but... if you have an interesting item for sale, no online site gives better auction upside than ebay. |

I took a look at that site, it look really terrible when we have ebay and Delcampe. Even new Delcampe looks better than this |

The design and interface of stamps2go is archaic and antiquated. Searching isn't the most friendly in the world. I check it once a month or so, as there isn't a whole lot of movement in my area, and most of what is there is low-end material.
That said, I have found an occasional cancel or plate variety there.
It could do with an overhaul though... |

I agree that the interface could be much improved, but if you are looking for inexpensive, elusive worldwide stamps, I know of no better source. |

I use it for my topical needs for my first day covers. I just purchased all the different cardinal stamps for an upcoming release. |

Query from a colleague. (I do not use stamps2go)
He drills down to a desired series, (say 1938-1943 Saint Helena) From a list he places one stamp in the "trolley" or "basket"
Then he wishes to go back to his list, but appears he has to start over again with the criteria.
I thought "open in a new tab" may get over this but no.
Any users have advice please? Thanks.

One thing that bugs me is you cannot search for singles and sets concurrently. It is two different operations.
I've also had issues with items not making it to my cart, but some things I like. |

The stamps2go interface and design is straight out of 1998; even the most basic web design concepts like 'navigation' and 'searching' need significant improvements.
Transactional web sites involving people's money need to reflect technical competencies to impart a level of confidence; stamps2go is in need of a ground up redesign. An example of a good idea with a bad implementation. Don |

I've used it once to fill some holes in my Ghana-collection, and it worked for me. A great place to find those elusive low value stamps, but I do agree that the site needs an overhaul though. Not having a worldwide Scott catalog makes the whole thing more cumbersome as well. |
