The only 2016 stamps I have bought is the National Park and Soda Fountain favorites. If anyone has 2016 extras, let me know and I will be happy to take some of your hands for a reasonable price.

How would you want them? Singles? Frankly, I never know what to do with the self-adhesives. I often use the stamps for postage and then trim the backing around a few of the stamps I want to keep. |

Singles or se-tenants. For booklets, I use up one side and then fold along the die cut and slice the backing paper with an Xacto Knife. |

Here's an example of what I've done in the past. (I've darkened the scan to better show the edges.) I've only got the Repeal of the Stamp Act stamp right now, but will happily send you one if you pm your address to me. |

Andy, I have bought only two issues. I have "the moon" and the "classics forever" sheetlet. Let me know if you want those,

I could use a Classics Forever sheetlet. How much do you want for them? |

Other than the USPS site, is there another reliable site for stamp releases? What I mean is what has been released this year and any up coming releases. |

The virtual stamp club is a good place. Linn's also lists the US Stamp Program. |

I now wait until the new MYSTIC supplement comes out. That way I won't be purchasing a sheet when a strip will do. Lesson learned.

Wow. I have been reading this and thought the solution was easy. It has been a long time since I collected new US stamps. I collected all of 1983 and 1984 in full sheets, blocks, singles, rolls, coil strips. I got it all from one source which seems to have disappeared, the Philatelic Sales Division. They sold you whatever you wanted. One stamp, 10 stamps, 1000 stamps. For $1 or more per stamp, $4 would get you a plate block. For anything below $1 stamps, you had to buy a side of the sheet (10 commems or 20 regulars) to guarantee a plate number block. They kept everything in stock for like 2 years and gave notification when something would be removed on the next issue. I have partial coil rolls bought just to get line pairs. A few full rolls. With the advent of the self-stick stamps, single sales went out the window.
A little story..... I went to the main post office in St. Louis (I worked downtown) to buy the newest stamp that had just come out that day. The clerk told me she could not sell me a plate block until the top sheet was sold. She did not want to break another sheet. I reached over and grabbed a complaint form. Filled it out in the line and dropped it in the box. I left and came back the next day. Same clerk waited on me and was very, very helpful on anything that I wanted.
Times have really changed. It makes me glad that I do not collect new postage. Not to mention how costly it has become. And the designs are not very well done with very little intricate detail. |

Quote: Definitely interested. Feel free to PM me. I sent you a PM of what I have excess. I have a few more to get. This year I plan to create all my pages similar to Mystic style. I usually prefer my strips horizontally but Mystic either breaks them up or does the vertical version (sometimes the most efficient way to break down a sheet). |
