I'm not too good on colors but I think this is a #10a with extremely sharp impression. Do you agree?

Impression is pretty good but the color looks way off. Could be your scanner...

Based on the docketing date (2/27/1852), the "color" (seems more dull red than orange brown to me), and what I see as a somewhat fuzzy background - 11A. The early usage explains the better background detain than most 11As.

Surely the more knowledgeable folks here with chime in, but I will continue to learn about identifying this issue whether I am correct or not.
