I have a container with a total of 18 large glassines filled with stamps from Sweden, it seems they all are used. There are a few with 900 different stamps, and some with 700 or 500 different stamps. I'm going through the 19th glassine (900 stamps) as I'm writing this, and I'm thinking a bit about what to do with the rest of the glassines.
My first thought was to just trade them as is. Say 900 Sweden for 900 from some other country that I need. Of course, I could go through and cherry pick the better stamps/cancellations, but that would violate the "as is" in my opinion. Also, I would much rather have 18 large glassines from loads of different countries to go through than going through Swedish material over and over again. So I'm pretty certain I will end up trading them as is.
So why this topic? Because I'm curious as to what you would do with such a lot. Would you trade it as is? Would you go through it in search of cancellations? Or something entirely else?
