The R33c is a very dry print. There might be a minor DT as well, tough to say from a scan on a stamp printed as badly as this one is.

Bumping older thread.

The R33c is what we called "Scooped Ink" variety. Difficult to tell if anything else is there.

I doubt it's anything other then dry. I don't see any signs of a DT.

I agree with dry print. Scooped ink, an old-timers term (it seems), describes a condition where the plate has been over-wiped IIRC.

That stamp is missing ink in a number of places, logic would dictate that it was not moist enough.

As I understand the term "Scoped Ink" it is excessively wiped leaving this effect.
