Went to the Pissarro exhibition in Oxford this week. Amongst the artwork was this charming coloured illustration of a postman (scroll down the attachment a little), from one of the albums that the Pissaro family would make up from the drawings they'd produced during the year. https://www.quaereliving.com/post/p...mpressionism |

Interesting to note the difference with Illustration and art, when considered alongside Van Gogh's Postman. |

There is work by van Gogh in the exhibition, but the real stand-out pieces amongst the "guests" were Cezanne's. |

The flower is Yvert 3335, 2000. The second looks like a Cinderella. The last is a little recent for me! |
