Thank you for the response NSK and it made me laugh as I had a similar thought as I was posting (that they are apparently limited to begin with) and yes, there is documentation to support that! They are beautiful stamps and I appreciate the response. Cheers!

UPDATE - I have solved my own mystery (I think!). I believe that the year is incorrect on the attached "article" and have found multiple similar sets noted as 1910 Coronation, unissued Qajar Dynasty (with the same silver set, a gold border set as well as the other two sets mentioned). Had to put on my Jessica Fletcher from Cabot Cove detective hat.

Brian - I have my doubts about the authenticity of your set. Below is an image from a Feldman sale of this issue. If you look at the sword and lion details, they are not the same as your example.

Rogdcam - as always, you never disappoint! Great catch, placing a pic of questionable stamp here for an easier visual reference to compare.

Persia Stamps, Forgeries Round two. If you happen to be scoring along at home, the score thus far appears to be authentic - 0 and forgeries - 1. Let's try another round, this time the 1923 Omar Khayam 800th anniversary set of 14. Thoughtful feedback and shared wisdom always appreciated!
