Is there 1 book that you consider the best in ID'ing stamps by what is printed on them?
I have a small booklet that has lots stuff in it, but still have sevral stamps I can't ID. I already have the Scott Catalogs, but have a hard time using those so far especially if not sure which country to look in.
Thanks
Jay

Any stamps that you can make out letters on you look in the back of any scott cat. and it will tell you which book to look in. open the index ofg the book it tells you to look in and it eill give what pages to look at. If that doesn't help there is also an illustrated identifier in the back of each scott catalog. Hope this helps

Richard

Linn's Stamp News prints a great Stamp identifier book for about $20. It practically covers everything.
