The Peace Dove and its olive twig issued by Oman, 2004, for the International Day of Peace. The Dove has a lot of work to do these days.

It seems to me that I did not see this one in the previous posts. Hope it's not redundant, and the design is very interesting#65281;

A simple and very direct image of the Peace Dove for the Year of Peace. 1986. Idebee, the Chinese design is unique!

I like this kid's drawing stamp for a long time because of the colorful unique costumes and musical instruments and hilarious dances of several typical minority nationalities in China. Only recently I put focus on the doves and looked at it from a different angle. At first glance, I found the twigs are a little too big for the doves, but today I have new discoveries when I looked at it again. The doves and twigs turn out to be musical notes and the colorful bands of the Great Wall is a music score. Wow, it's so smart a design. Can you believe that this is a work of a little kid (Zhang Lelu) less than 15 .

I see that Zhang Lelu also designed a peace stamp for the United Nations and want to see his UN stamp and find this one. But I have problems to access the website and can't see further information. Anyway this is a handsome peace dove stamp!

(There are 2 Chinese characters at the center bottom, He Ping, which means peace)

Dominica's stamp for environmental awareness shows a clean atmosphere and water, a tidy city and lots of green and a lovely Peace Dove. It all rests in a human hand.

(Hi Idebee, nice to see the UN Doves again and find out more about them, page 16.)
