Scott C2 Canada Air Stamp

H guys...Was talking to a friend last night who has an unbelievable understanding and knowledge of Canadian stamps..We both agree that this Scott C2 has some interesting components about it.

FIRST - In the selvedge the number "one" is reversed.


SECOND - There is an "accent" spot on the right hand side of the "S" in "postage"...We were hoping another would come up to prove a possible constant.


THIRD - The right numeral box looks like the top of it could be a possible engravers retouch or a possible re-entry...The top of the right box is thicker than the left numeral box top.

I don't collect Canada, but this is a good item to workup. As a U.S. locals collector colored dots, missing design items-frame lines etc., and any number of entry details on an engraved stamps help tell it's story. Good hunting.
