Having finished mounting the stamps I own into Big Blue (Part I), I opened BB (Part II) today and flipped through trying to decide which stamps to begin mounting into it. Decided on France and will begin working on them after lunch....

Finished mounting some British Commonwealth. I had to modify a Steiner page to add a minor variety. Then went back to checking my actual stamp albuims with what was in StampManage - found more discrepancies.

Spent a couple of hours perusing the latest Raritan catalog for their upcoming July auction. Always interesting material from this smaller underrated auction house. They tend to have WW things that you never see. If you have never seen a Raritan catalog take a look.

Today I have trying to help on the forum, postings. I have been entering my stamp collection into a database to better able to monitor it and what I need.

Waiting on my latest purchases to show up. Getting ready to sort out my Lebanon purchase to get into storage so I can begin to create on album for it.

Today, I got tired of fishing around in a drawer for what I need so I made a rack for stamp mounting supplies. Just starting to put it to use now. It'll work for the most common sizes, larger items will still live in a drawer.

Just wrapped up mounting what I had laid out, except for Lithuania. Going to go through a detailed count of what I have mounted on Steiner+ pages. I have pretty much filled 30 1.5-inch binders and 5 1-inch binders. Probably 2500 pages all in clear mounts. I'll be working on the smaller S countries next to finish the bulk of S to Z. Then it's back to the letter D.

@trabz, Way back you asked me if I use glue to stick my mounts on the page. The answer is no. I actually lick every single mount, just lightly across the very top of the back. I'm always wondering if this is bad for my health.

Learning about GB Barred cancels and identifying them on my growing collection of penny reds, some of which are junk except for the clear barred numeral cancel.

Finally finished going through my 1/2 kg of kiloware. Messed around with my German stamps and that was about it, except I ordered a 2.2 lb.box of stamps from Nordfrim. Nordfrim is so much cheaper than Mystic so I will give them a go.

Received some commemorative stamp panes from USPS - Yogi Berra and the Sun Science ones. Very nice design and stamps. Awaiting an order of stamps either currently unavailable from USPS or required to buy a whole coil.

Been working on my enormous backlog of material needing to be both processed and added to my excel sheet. I may actually run out of 102 cards but too early to know for sure. A lot of Mexico, Argentina, Netherlands Colonies.

To save some space as I work, rather than have all 11 of my redboxes out for filing, I am filing groups of cards alphabetically then will pull out the redboxes for final filing later on. It's an extra step but a lot neater.

Also recently, I have been able to complete a few very difficult definitive sets- sets I've never found offered complete so I've worked to put them together. Countries include Netherlands Indies, Iran, Liechtenstein, and Mexico. Been a nice little run.

I've been finishing up organizing Great Britain duplicates and today will continue to compile a GB want list in anticipation of a swap. I decided that using an online database is the most efficient way for me to inventory my collection for now.

Attended the Knoxville Philatelic Society meeting Tuesday night (July 6). APS President, Bob Zeigler, presented a program on outgoing Swiss international covers during WWII. Lots of information on censors and several binders full of covers to look at. The meeting was the 40th anniversary of the KPS(and earlier names) joining the APS as a Chapter. We had cake!
I bought a few used US BOB and hinged them into my album Wednesday. I also organized my new/old glassines, 102 cards, and other similar storage items.
