Visited my first stamp store today! Picked up a few things, nothing special just random cheap stuff but I didn't have it, can't wait to attend a show or club. |

I got my first Packet for about 18 months. three books had very reasonably priced GB material. I got a few QV stamps I needed and bought for a few pounds a 9d straw that I can't identify precisely. Whichever it is, it's a bargain. |

Continued to work through various accumulations and add things to ebay. Pursued my email discussions with Parcel Force's "Customer Experience Team" about an auction purchase that they've contrived to lose within their South-East England hub. |

I have some Croatia material to list that are not in Scott. So I found a Michel Kroatien-Spezial-Katalog 2004 on ebay and it just arrived from Germany. Yippee! |

Found that I hadn't mounted Turkey yet, but had them ready to go. I took care of regular issues through mid-1940. I'll finish the rest tomorrow and get a count.
Update: Turkey (403) and Egypt (398) mounted. Turkey is to mid-1940. Egypt is regular issues to 1952 and b.o.b. to 1957. |

These are my stacks of pages left to mount to complete 99.5% of my phase 1. Somewhere around 250 pages. I left a small percentage out because I'm guessing I overlooked something. |

On Saturday our club had it's first stamp show since fall 2019 It was so nice to see everyone in person again. Though it was a small show everyone had a wonderful time buying and selling stamps. It also marked the first time exhibiting for me with 2 one page Exhibits. Dianne |

Finished cataloguing my US stamps (I've never really looked at US before joining this forum - my previous interests were GB, Commonwealth and Europe). I had a few pages from my childhood collection, a few pages from my inherited grandfathers collection, and won a recent ebay auction for a few hundred common 1930's-60's stamps. At least 700 stamps to mount now. I've had great fun with my perforation gauge - would never have known where to start without the resources on this site. |

GeoffHa I will get my husband to scan them for me this evening. My stamp room is packed up because of renovations and I haven't had access to my scanner. I will try to get some pics for tomorrow. Dianne |

Thank you! Coincidentally, I've finally been putting my QEII Canada (not a distinguished collection) on leaves. Going up to 1965, which is my rough cut-off for the other Dominions. |

Last night I won a small Lot of mint US blocks and strips. Pics didn't show everything but there were blocks of 664, 665, 668 and a dozen or so more. |

And the second. As I mentioned earlier this was my first attempt at an exhibit. They were both well received by the judges. Dianne |
