In Brussels for a few days, so picked up the two-volume Belgian stamp catalogue for 2017, which covers both Belgium itself, and Belgian colonies and their post-colonial issues, for twenty-odd euros. Still some stamp and coin shops, as well as second-hand bookshops, in the area near the old stock exchange, although not, I think, as many as there were. |

After two day marathon session, I finished inventorying my very beginner Malaya/Straits Settlements collection and did a Gibbons/Scott cross reference for most. The early overprinted ones are too specialized to tackle now and I will not have many of those anytime soon.

I also discovered I have the PageMaker files (p65 extension) from Steiner back when in joined in 2004. Now, only if I had the software. I can get a licensed version off ebay! Whoo hoo! |

I am half way thru updating my Mystic Heirloom 2016 supplement. It has been a slow process as I literally despise the USA stamps of today. I only do it to keep the collection current. I'll be happy when I finish.

Attended a small stamp show in Towson, MD. Filling in Italian colonies mainly, and bought a few covers..... Dakota Territory. |

Angore,
Yes indeed. There are about 20 pages that need updating. I've had all the stamps and pages since January. I still have about 15 pages to go. I hate it.

I spent my weekend annotating my Canada Steiner pages with Scott numbers. I'm using a trial version of Adobe Acrobat to make the modifications and the tools works very well. I think I will probably pay for a permanent copy (actually a monthly fee through Adobe Creative Cloud) at least until I get all the pages modified. |
