Working on my CANADA large Queens with the help of my recently bought reference book from Green Foundation, already scanned and discussed so I will not repeat myself (!) and received via Mail a nice Mint Large Q 1/2 cent, black. Scott #21. |

Finished mounting and packing my 10-frame exhibit ("Development of the United States Postal Savings System, 1911-1970") for the Garfield-Perry March Party - a few days early, which may give a chance to tweak a few things if I let myself.
I don't enjoy the physical process of printing and mounting exhibit pages but I like the result when they are in the frames. |

Still struggling to get thru mounting my 2016 stamps into the MYSTIC album. I so hate these stamps and the USPS.

I have labelled all my stockbooks and folders so all match, so now have nice neat labelling instead of pencilled efforts. Trouble is, I forgot to do two of my GB, so now I need to re-do all the GB folders! Rats! DavidR |

Just returned from a six-week vacation in the U.S. - to a large stack of colorful envelopes with purchases made while down south. Stamp room was messy to start - now messier. Started the mounting today but it will take a while. |

Nice Belgian Congo collection going, I like their stamps and the latest AP magazine article certainly stirred my interest. |

Thank you. I'm working on the easier stuff at present. Earlier material - doubtless with various forgeries - to follow. I don't think I'll be investigating the myriad varieties of "Congo Belge"overprints too closely! |

I did make reservations for one night for APS Stampshow in Richmond. It is just 3 hrs away. The show hotel is $129 but the parking at the hotel is like $27 per day. I may end up staying at a place with free parking. There are supposedly some pay lots near the hotel so will check on those. |

Started work on my page layouts for my Morocco albums. Finished the French PO in Morocco up to the start of the full protectorate in 1912. |
