I have just remade my Access database for the registration of my Great Britain - Queen Victoria collection, it is something simple and nothing complicated. (Add Scott catalog value for reference only). |

For your Access database, how did you address the sorting of catalog numbers? For example, 158a follows 158 since normal database sorting does not know this concept. |

I added my first Indonesia stamps to my hingeless albums: Steiner pages printed with page numbers and catalog numbers added, country title pages created, scanned. As I write this, I forgot to scan a Vario page that has a few stamps after 1980 (my usual cut off). The cost of the paper and mounts likely exceeded the value of the stamps. |

Nice pages @angore. I haven't yet re-mounted Indonesia on Steiner pages, but recently fully inventoried and organized what I have in glassines. Most of my Indonesia is still hinged to International pages parts 3 thru 8. They are a bit lower on my priority list for Steiner with clear mounts. |

I visited the EXPO FILABRAS 2024 website, and I voted for several philatelic exhibits. I participate with 9+1 exhibits. |

The thing is simple, each tinbre has an ID and I have also given them the Scott and SG Catalog number; In the Collection, I put those 3 details for each stamp for the quick search. Like I said, nothing complex. |

Made my annual visit to e NEFederation Stamp Show in Boxborough MA, Usually I go prepared with specific items to be hunted & acquired. I have been going to this show 30+ years. I was terribly unprepared for what I came into. The show was less than 60% the size of previous shows. Usually there is 1-large main room with 2-smaller side rooms. The main room was about 1/2 the usual number of dealers, while the side room was not really interesting at all. The USPS did not have a booth, 1st time I can remember that happening. The dealer I was seeking out, for specific items, was there but without the specific items. I will need to go to his 'site' & review the offerings. (claimed that the items I was looking for do not travel well & the 'searchers' mess up the items. (It'e stationary items, cards & envelopes, so I kind of understand. ) I did visit my main source for classics, (postage, revenues, newspaper, other BOB) and was able to pick up some nice Officials & Shanghai issues . It's about an hours drive, there's a fee (x2). I was done after about an hour (usually roam around the floor 2-3 hours minimum. There is another large show in October, I will plan for that. |

shermae: TOGA Associates was not listed in the program. I went on Saturday. There was a decent crowd, with 35 noted vendors in the program (65 tables). The show did not seem to me to be as large as past shows. Just didn't seem as large especially only using the one large room & without the USPS. (There was no show cancel as a result) |

Bit the bullet on Saturday and started to tackle a couple of thousand unsorted Olivier Merson and Sower type French stamps. I wussed out by ignoring the Sowers with multiple types to start with, just concentrating on the easy ones. |
